We’re pleased to announce the hotfix release of TestRail 10.1.2.1002 for our Cloud customers. This hotfix introduces additional configuration options for Smart Archiving, giving administrators greater control over lifecycle management for Test Runs and Plans.

Expanded Smart Archiving configuration options:
- Extended lifecycle windows for automatic closing:
- 270 days (9 months)
- 365 days (1 year)
- Extended lifecycle windows for automatic archiving:
- 180 days (6 months)
- 270 days (9 months)
Added a “Never” option allowing administrators to allowing administrators to disable automatic closing and/or automatic archiving independently
ℹ️ Recommendation
We recommend keeping Smart Archiving enabled. Automatically closing and archiving older Test Runs and Plans helps maintain a cleaner workspace and supports better performance as instances grow.
