We’re excited to announce the release of TestRail 9.1.0, to all our server customers, which introduces the long-awaited Cross Project Reports, along with a set of targeted bug fixes to improve system stability and reliability.
Please note that our recommended upgrade path is via TestRail 8.0.4. If you’re still running TestRail 7.0 or below, you should follow the path below:
📊 Cross-Project Reports
TestRail 9.1.0 introduces Cross Project Reports, a powerful new capability available exclusively for Enterprise customers. These reports are designed for QA Managers, Test Managers, and leadership stakeholders who need visibility across multiple projects and teams.
Two report types are now available:

Test Execution – Project Summary
Provides a high-level overview of quality status across multiple projects, supporting informed go/no-go decisions for upcoming development stages. -
Test Execution – User Workload
Offers insights into workload distribution across users and teams, helping managers balance assignments and optimize efficiency.
To enable Cross Project Reports, go to Administration Users & Roles Edit Role or contact your Administrator, and ensure appropriate permissions are granted.
🐞 Fixes and Improvements (4)
This release includes extensive bug fixes across test case management, reports, integrations, API stability, and UI interactions:

TR-13398 – Filtering by Label does not return all relevant test cases when copied from another test suite
