We’re pleased to announce the release of TestRail 8.0.5.1039 to all our Cloud customers.
In this release, we've made significant enhancements to our cloud infrastructure. As a result, TestRail's attachment storage system is undergoing improvement to overall performance and stability.
This release does not impact TestRail's APIs or its user interface, and customers should not experience any changes in TestRail features. There are, however, two changes in application behavior related to attachments that customers should be aware of:
The attachment sharing described below was enhanced on version 8.0.5.1055. Please refer to the Release Notes of that version for further information
- Attachments are no longer Project specific, therefore the field "Accessible in" in the Attachment Detail window (see below) shows all Projects the user has access to;
- Previously it was possible to carry out an attachment deletion for an entity (e.g. Test Cases, Milestones, Runs, etc) using single click or long-press from their respective view or edit page. From this version onwards deletion will be performed from the Edit page only;
